Design and construction of the substructure and prestressed concrete superstructure for Bridge 7 on the Bogota-Villavicencio Highway. The bridge has two structures: one constructed using a post-tensioned cast-in-place segmental balanced-cantilever method. This structure is supported by caissons 55 M deep and piers 64 M high. The other structure was constructed using a post-tensioned cast-in place span-by-span method.
